Few problems with my 98 SS #1 is my radiator temp keeps going to 260 if i'm in low speeds too much or stopped. It shut off the other week when i was by my house and i don't know what the problem is. problem #2 is when it's really hot my car starts to lurch and stutter like a blurb blurb then it will start to go and sound like WOT. I'm stumped, when it's cool in the morning i don't have this problem but when my car sits at work all day and is hot it has the problem.
Any help is appreciated.

things to check, full radiator, fans coming on, any kind of blockage in front of the radiator and or condenser. also check for the inside of the rad for blockage or sludge and any leaks.

The radiator is actually all the way full.. should i drain any of it? i dont see any blockage and or any leaks. To check for sludge would i have to drain it?
