You definitely DONT want a T fitting, you want a decent Y fitting that will flow halfway decent. The only one we use that anywhere near compact is a stainless steel Y about 1.5" long and 3/4" wide, much more compact than the yblocks you can get at Summit etc

And onthe hose reg fuel injection hose is not good enough for in tank use, you need SAE 30R10 rated submersible line, Ive done many dozens of fuel pumps in these cars and reg hi pressure FI hose (SAE30R9) is not holding up over time. That hose is expensive as hell, but you only need it to get it out of the tank

Duals is not really that big of deal. over 550whp you need to start thinking about using dual walbros. Over 400whp on e85 needs duals. Now the hat trick triple walbros, that is when you are getting serious :)

Yeah... if they have a 98. Try fitting that giant shower head (:jest:) into a 99-02 bucket.

I'm perfectly aware of this. It is not the fact that he is running duals that impresses me but rather that he is running dual 340s. Good bit of difference in capacity between this setup and the mainstream dual 255 setup.

Regardless I'm still curious about the motor.

You are not aware of much.... A gss340 is the part number of a walbro 255 pump.

I was under the impression that 340 was the flow rating, I've never heard of anyone call it a 340. Thank you for correcting me, it was my mistake and I take it back.

Your not the first to make that mistake. I wish people wouldn't call it a 340 it confuses people. Besides the gss340 is still around but most GM applications have been moved to an updated f20000169 part number. Still 255lph rated which is the largest universal pump walbro makes.

I have one of those fittings on my air compressor. I got mine from home depot by where they sell the air compressors.

MM:What you've accomplished with what you've used is pretty fucking impressive.

mightmouse, so looks like you have the dual pumps pushing through the stock 5/16" or is it 3/8" tube on the lid. How much horsepower do you have? I am wondering if that setup will support 700whp on e85?

I agree...be sure to increase the size of those long fuel lines. It'll save your pumps from having to work harder than they should have to.

that particular set up was not done for my own car, but was done for around 700rw capable.

mightymouse, are you using the factory tube through the lid or are you using an AN fitting through the lid? I would like to use the factory tube coming out of the lid, just not sure how much whp it will support on e85
