Default What do you guys think

I found a 94 z28 auto with 170k miles for $1000. Car has 17 inch c5 corvette rims. He says that car is getting water in the oil and thinks it either an intake or head gasket. I think its a good deal since I will do all the work and I will probably sell it once I get the water leak fixed and make a few bucks off it.

Here the craigslist ad. http://norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/1875924132.html
Do you guys think its worth getting it. As long as its just the intake or head gasket that is causing the water in oil I think it would be good.

For $1000 that's a hell of a buy.

Thats what I was thinking I figured I could fix it and sell it and make some $$ and maybe keep the rims for my 94. I would probably keep it if i didnt already have 3 vehicles.

if its getting water in the oil then its gotta be either cracked head, blown head gasket or a cracked block. Still not a bad price even tho it's gonna need at the very least a head gasket change.
