Default What is this part?

This is off the drivers side, rear of the manifold. I plugged the port on the back of the manifold. Is this for the AIR pump? All that stuff has long since been tuned out. Can I toss this piece?

It is not the EVAP purge solenoid. The solenoid you have pictured controls part of the AIR system. You can dump it. Just make sure you don't have any open vacuum ports or line left behind. Now there should only be two vacuum lines on the back of the intake. One large line for the brake booster and a smaller line for the HVAC Blend doors.

Thank you! That's exactly what I have left!
