Default opinions for build

so im wondering if i can get away with throwing hyperutetics in an ls1 block with 317 heads the comp. ive heard would be close to 9 to 1 would that build with some arp bolts and studs hold up to 10 or more lbs of boost from a turbo build? would that be a good budjet build? or do i just need to save up 700(ouch) dollars for a set of pistons?
thoughts please

lots of guys pick up junkyard 5.3 and throw some 317's and boost on them and make a pretty safe 500+ horsepower to the wheels.

what exactly do you wana do your post is kinda hard to read

the stock ls1 has hypernetic pistons from what i have read
if your gona build for boost i would go more to the iron block way to save some money if you wana run more boost down th line plus a truck motor will be cheaper then a ls1

The pistons and rods are both a weak link from the factory. Lots of guys shell pistons first, but if the tune is right the next thing to go is the rod. Look on ebay, you can get a decent upgrade with a lunati piston and something like a scat rod for around $700. Its going to be safe for atleast 150 more hp than stock.
