Quick question. Will 225 trick flow work on a 347 LS1?

Default Quick question. Will 225 trick flow work on a 347 LS1?

trying to see if the 225 trick flow heads will work on a stock bore LS1 block.

I would say yes. but you will have to buy the ls2 4.0 bore head gasket. I know it works because my friend has a set of trick flow ls2 4.0 bore as cast heads on his 01 trans am. I also called brian tooley to verify for sure that his car would be fine. For what its worth he gained 79rwhp with the as cast ls2 heads and fast92 from what it he was cam only. So in short use the ls2 head gasket and double check your ptv clearence and you will be fine. Oh an by the way on my friends ls1 we milled the ls2 heads to 59cc and he has a 232/236 cam.

Sure it will work well.....not sure what the actual size of the CNC TFS 225's is but the 215's are really 219cc and the "as cast 220's" is 220cc as I understand it... Love my 220's btw....
