Default Added a pinstripe to my wheels. Check it out.

Took me about two hours using some vinyl pin stripes. I like it. It adds some color to the wheels and makes them look better. Don't know if it'll last but even if it doesn't it only cost me 5 dollars and 2 hours of my time. It's far from perfect but it looks good from 2-3 feet away. I wasn't expecting much from it anyway.

i was thinking of doin the same thing. i saw this roller applicator type deal on tv...it holds a lil bit of paint, u get the wheel off the ground, spin it and put the applicator thing on the edge of the rim (it has a gide so u dont get crooked) and let it do the work, took about 5 seconds

That would work if you did the prep work first...otherwise I don't think it would work very well.

I'm really not worried about it. I'm still not even sure if I like this 100 percent. If I decide I like it and want it like that I will buy better striping from a much better vinyl maker and clear it all. Until then this will do.

Go somewhere else if you're going to be a jerk. The point is making the stockers look better. I spent 5 whole dollars on that. Constructive criticism is welcome however calling my wheels shitty is not constructive.

I think they might come off if you hit it with a pressure washer?

Going to be totally honest here and state my opinion. Not much can help those wheels. The next time you pull up to a light and an import owner pulls up be ready hes going to roll his window down and talk to you. when he sees those pin stripes he's going to assume you have a lot in common. Including bad taste.

Im not all against pinstripes. If you had some 19" black wheels a red pinstripe would look sweet. Those wheels are just way too small. have an ugly offset and sit way too inwards in the fenders.

Yeah...That's not going to happen. But thanks for the input. These wheels are what I have to work with.

I can respect that completely. My advice to you is to ditch the pinstripes. the wheels look better without. SOmetimes we look for things to change because we feel like we can improve things with some of our ideas. I hate to say it but more often than not those ideas are just not the right ones. I think your car is nice and it looks like a clean car with the wheels the way they were.

One time my friend came over in his brand new civic sir. he added an emblem on his passenger side dashboard. He was like 'look what I did ! what do you think?' I looked at him funny and just changed the topic. when we got on the highway i put the window down, tore off the emblem and tossed it out the window. .. he was like WTFFFFFF I told him That he was embarassing me that I was in his car with a retarded emblem on his dash. Believe it or not we werent friends long before that but we are great friends now. I tend to speak my mind and he likes that about me. We always joke about that back then and he thanks me for what i did. it's one reason I may sound like an *** on the forums but im just looking out for a fellow f-body member as I would my friend.

Not trying to be a jerk. But this is fact. the above statement is impossible. the ONLY thing you can do to make them loook better, is to a) lower the car, b) paint the calipers and rotor hubs and c) armor all the tires

Quick Reply: Added a pinstripe to my wheels. Check it out.
