Default Shifter hole size & boot for t56 install

What size hole did you t56 guys leave for the sifter? Also, can I see some pics of what shifter boots you used if you didn't use a console?

Too many variables to cut ahead of time. Every install may be different. Careful measurements, start with a small hole, trim as needed as you lift tranny into place. Same with shift boot. Make friends with your local speed shop or good parts store and try different boots until you find one you like. If you mount the tranny tight to your tunnel, the shifter handle bolts stick up quite a bit so you may need a big or tall boot to cover it. The factory boot has that little leather piece that covers the bolts.
