Default coolant temperature sensor problem

OK I have a 98 Z28 just put a 6.0 liter in it. The coolant temp sensor plug has 3 prongs on the harness.

Autozone and the deaership only sells a 2 prong for my car. The guy at autozone looked for a three prong and found one but it was a LOT too big.

Please help with a part number or some info.

Thanks

Found it using the handy dandy search. I think folks are using the V6 sensor

lol that would be greatly appreciated. Did we just get the wrong coolant temp sensor or is the temp switch the correct part for this?
