What's 117.17mph good for?
117.17 was my trap in the 1/4 tonight.
I usually cut 1.8x 60's, but could not muster better than a 2.0 tonight
Anyhow, it's an M6 with 4.10's in the 10 bolt.
Would like to know what kind of ET I can aspire to with that mph.
Appreciate it.

My shiftpoints should be within 6600-6800, but my shiftlight broke last night and I was shifting all over the place (anywhere between 6000 to the 6900 rev limiter- bounced a few times- not good). My stock tach is useless.
Overall, a very sloppy night for me.

I'd say it's good for proving that your shifting needs some work!
Just messing with you! Your car sounds awesome.....very mean sounding!
My last run I hit a 13.2 @ 105 with a 2.06 60'. I'm very pleased...especially with a stock 2000 convertible (lid and BGRA).

I used to run a 12.2 @ 117mph on a 2.0 60' in my LS1 on a 100 shot. Raceweight was 3,650lbs. Your mph for your power level is right on par. An 11.7 would be a good ET IMO for that mph given a moderate 60'. I know you're not out to cut any 1.5-1.6's so a nice 1.75 60' on drag radials would put you in the 11.7 second range. Powershifting will drop some ET and pick up some mph. I know you're a granny shifter though.

I have redefiined the term "granny shifting" by adding one more generation.
I "great-granny shift" .... Literally, with shoes slipping off on each shift! Gotta get me some shoes! (or at least use shoe laces..)

If you're shifting is that bad, you can count on another 2-3 MPH just out of a better driver...
Shifting is everything for MPH. The faster your shifts, the higher the RPM range stays IE: stays in the power range...
FWIW I have driven friends' car's as much as 3-4 mph faster just by shifting alone...
