Jk man, the autos had different gearing than the manuals. Auto's had a 2.73 or 3.23 gear, manuals 94 and newer came with 3.42's...if the speedo is off its probably just because of the gearing like the others said. If you get a tune you can switch whatever gears you have into your tune to correctly calibrate the speedo...

Read your owners manual, i beleive it says "IMPORTANT: NEVER RELY ON A FBODY'S GAS GAUGE IN MODELS RANGING FROM 1982 TO 2002 AS IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING BUT A FULL TANK OF FUEL IT WILL MOST LIKLY READ WRONG"
its in there somewhere, trust me.

i think the gas gauge problem is different for different cars. mine reads just fine. when i get real low close to empty the the gas gauge freaks out. but im going to guess its different for ever car.
we purposely tried to run it out of gas so when we dropped the tank it would be easy. i think there was about a 1/8 inch of gas left in it.

i dont trust mine at all. get around half a tank, take a turn, hit the brakes, it can go anywhere from 3/4 tank to 1/4 tank lol. perhaps something just wears out in them.
