Default 4l60e Tranny

Got my 2002 Camaro Z28 it had 81,000 miles on it at about 83,000 i found out it was slippin. Any ideas on the best way to get it rebuilt? and how to rebuild it the best way.?

4l60E's where made more to hold the stock power for an ls1. In another words if u got any up grades ur going to keep on braking it if u do a regular rebuilt. If I was you I would do like a stage 2 built on it for like 600 RWHP. It all depends what plans you got for the car.
