Hey guys, what is everyone doing with the water pump fittings when deleting the HVAC system? Can I just loop the the fittings with some heater hose til I get a EWP?

you can just plug them with a rubber fitting an put a clamp around it.

You can loop them or cap them. I origionally looped them but it looked like shit. So I took the pump off removed the conection pipes and tapped the holes and used some npt plugs. Looks much cleaner and it is easy to do.
Now My car is a LT1 but its the same idea.

I was origionally gonna get my pump welded up but my welder bitched out and didn't want to do the job. Then I was going to use freeze plugs but my auto parts store didn't have the sizes I need so I tapped them and used plugs. Im pretty sure a few people have used freeze plugs though.

Vacuum Caps?

Vacuum caps always seem to dry out and crack after a few months. Not a good thing if the decide to let go when your haulin ass down the track.

Local parts store should have the caps you need, they are not vacum caps. They are darn near as thick as your radiator hoses.Used them in the past on a couple cars.
