Default Stock LS1 aluminum drive shaft. Worthy of modifying for swap or too weak?

I am doing a LQ9/Th350 swap in my foxbody coupe. I have an extra LS1 alum. drive shaft sitting on the shelf. I don't even know if they can hack these up and shorten them, but assuming they can, is it worth it? This car will see a lot of strip time, but I am trying to keep it as light as possible.

Any thoughts?

Dont bother. Several stock 4th gens are twisting them up. Sticky tires and a torquey 6.0 will only compound the problem

Most driveshaft shops can shorten alum shafts, just be sure they're worth doing. Tell them what you're doing and they can hook you up with a bullet proof shaft generally lighter than a factory steel one

Thanks, I figure I'll just sell this one then. Anyone know a good asking price for an aluminum ls1 shaft?
