Default How much did your CAGE cost you?

For those of you that have full 10-12 point cages that pass NHRA tech how much did you pay? I'm trying to see how much I should be looking at for a full chromoly tig welded cage.

You should expect to pay between $1900-$2500 for a 10pt NHRA Legal Cage, installed with a window net.

I am having mine insalled in 2 weeks. This guy does it on the side so his price is very good. Full chromoly cage tig welded, window net installed, cage certification sticker, cage painted - all for $1500. I would think most shops would charge between 2k and 3k though.

I'm getting my 6 pt rollbar augmented by Alston who put my cage in, and I will be at around $1900 I did not touch the interior they pulled it out. I am supplying the window net.

Wish I had the tig welder and tube bender to do this myself.

Can anybody give me a good reason not to use the Wolfe 10 point chromoly cage? Any real benefits of doing the custom one besides specifying your own bends?

The cage is not that expensive, it is the install that kills you, Tig welding is Expensive. I think Wolfe charges 2000.00 for the cage installed if you bring them the car COMPLETLY gutted
