You're right, it's very dangerous. I figure I normally drive with one hand anyway though. Trust me, it's ALWAYS more important to stay alive than get the footage. It's a matter of priorities.

Yep, post count doesn't equal knowledge, or experience in the real world. He could have 10,000 posts in the non-tech sections and we would never know. Just goes to show that even 99% of enthousiasts don't really know what's going on in the LS4 world. We're still seen as W-bodies, instead of LSx platforms.

I don't think that you have to worry about your trans if you use nitrous. You're not going to be able to launch it on the bottle. At best you would hit it at the top of first gear. I'd be more concerned about having the engine tuned for it.

No. It's a custom kit that is similar. Modular Turbo provided many of the parts and it is being built by Polk Performance in Alexandria, Arkansas. Rob at Modular Turbo is the best and he can get just about anything you need. The guys at Polk Performance build killer systems. They have reputation for making cars fast!

It should come in at just under $4000. I did some of the work myself though. I installed the injectors, meth, gauges, Kenne Bell Boost A Pump, etc. The shop is basically fabbing intercooler piping, exhaust and tuning. Polk Performance managed to get a 3" downpipe in there. It's a tight fit. They ran 3" pipe all the way out to the y-pipe with a cutout. Hopefully I'll get it back by this weekend.

Good run with the ls1 vette. I stopped and de-modded the gxp when the tranny went
and gave it to my light foot daughter. Its got 100k now. Love, hate relationship. The most expensive car I've ever owned to keep running year to year.

I suspect the AG has a good transmission cooler installed along with a few other mods. Most of us can pull at very high 13 second quarter with a properly prepped track. Ls1 vette mimimally modded runs low 13 second quarter at about a108 trap. Hence the pulling on you hard on the top end. So we are talking 50 rwhp added.
Thats not too hard to attain, even with a LS4. Good luck with the tranny.

Still stock on the trans, no cooler yet. Hell, still has original fluid in it. lol

I dont post here alot but if I was to guess you changed out the intake manifold to a LS2 or better intake along with downipe, exhaust etc...
The intake manifold on the LS4 is a super restriction. Good luck and good run.

Why? Its not sprayed, I know that for a fact. These cars are quicker than most people think. And a mostly stock A4 C5 isnt but a low 13 second car on average.
