02 Trans Am front clip change Hello! I'm new to the forum. I just purchased a wrecked 2002 Trans Am with 3000 miles. My question is about the front end. If I purchased a front clip from a 98 would there be any differences in the core support, engine bay, or frame from a the 98 front to a 02 front?

Re: 02 Trans Am front clip change Should be identical assuming it is a T/A donor car as opposed to a Firebird/Formula. They would work but are not styled the same in looks.

Re: 02 Trans Am front clip change I never saw the car in real life all I saw was pics I have about 10 more, so I thought the car was in pretty shape considering what was damaged in the pics. When I recieved the car it looked like a different car. The front wheel rolled off the trailer away from the rest of the car when we unloaded it. Oh yeah the guy forgot to tell me the engine cradle was about 2 inches skinnier because of the wreck. I work at a body shop so I am able to fix all of this, but I have about $1000 dollars worth of extra repairs.
