Default Rubber hose busted now car won't start!

The coolant hose that connects the steam line to the throttle body cracked yesterday and shot all over my intake manifold. after i replaced it my car would not start! i pulled the #1 plug wire cause it was easiest to reach and cranked the engine over to see if i had spark and i DONT. What do you guys think this could be? maybe my opti got wet? if it did should i just wait a few days for it to dry out and hopefully start it again?

how much coolant did you lose? could be anything. The coil, icm, maf are all in that location and could of gotten the electrical stuff wet. so i would do some investigating.

Hey:

Time to do the Throttle Body Bypass.

As stated you need to check around that area as it may be the OPTI but could be the Coil, or ICM that got wet or damaged as well.

even if it were the opti, coil, or icm would i be able to just wait and let it dry up? or would either of these be permanently damaged once they're wet?

figured out the problem, it was the LONG pigtail that plugs into the opti. i guess it came loose, and there was some oil residue on it when i pulled it out.
