What are some things i need to know. Doing a swap with a friend for ***** and gigs, and really so we can learn and have fun when we get home from afganistan. right now, we are thinkin of maybe a 5.3 swap. Goin for low budget, using stock parts, hes not power hungry, doesnt know **** about cars, just likes camaros and wants a V8. Trans the same in the pre-98s? Different bell housing? Accesories from a vortec 5.3 work in a 97? Motor mounts? Wiring harness? Any help would be great, we still have some time, and i want to collect info now.
