I had seen that some one posted that there is going to be a new rule. That any 12.99 or faster car that is a t-top car must have a 10 point cage. As my roll bar was just finished and painted I am going to be very sad if this is true. I checked the nhra web site and didn't see anything about it. Any light on this would be very helpfull!

i believe the new rule is a 10 point for 10.99 of faster

the 5 point is still in effect for all cars 11.99 and faster

no for awhile, the idea of treating t-top cars like convertibles (roll bar for 13.99 or faster) was being thrown around but it never came to pass. if your in the 12s you still need just a driveshaft loop. 11.99 or faster reguires 5-6 point rollbar (cant remember which).
