Default Need help with iat sensor

Hi guys, i have a rx7 with a LS6 in it from a 2004 ctsv. The problem is i have a 1999 corvette harness and theres a connector for the IAT sensor. The LS6 motor normally have its reading by the maf but mine is a LS1 instead of a LS6 and my connector is added to the maf connector ( corvette harness). Just to make it clear.

LS6 = MAF connector same as iat sensor (plugged directly in the maf connector)
My harness: Theres a MAF sensor + a IAT sensor (Maf sensor plugged)

What i need to do with the IAT sensor now? Buy a corvette sensor and plug it into my intake near my maf?

The sensor characteristics are the same. I redid my
stock harness to use the in-MAF sensor after I went
to the Delphi 85mm. I bought a pigtail for the 5-wire
from Casper's.

Of course later I went and re-re-did it to put the IAT
outside the engine bay. This is what I'd recommend,
especially since your harness already has a separate
branch (I cut into the harness close to the PCM).

But using the in-MAF sensor is not a problem other
than some heat soak and possible speed-density
airflow error.

So where you put it outside of the engine bay?
