I know FI is the way to go. I am not worried about gas mileage.

It would cost ALOT to do a fi swap as it would cost way less to
put a carb and intake with HEI.

Would I lose HP making the LT1 carbed??

or will it run the same minus the great gas mileage??

Might as well build a SBC instead of carbing the LT1

How is keeping the EFI on a LT1 going to be more expensive than a special carb intake conversion?

The price for the harness to be redone is like $350.00 for what I seen.
A FI tank is like $1100.00
A tune for all the boltons is $$$ also. Not a mail order tune. Maybe Like $300.00.
alot of places in Houston dont touch LT1's anymore, for tunes.

Im really not worried about the fi. I figured since it had aluminum heads already
and high compression I could just put in a cam and carb it n go.

$1750.00 just to start to keep the fi for the swap.
or carb it for under $600.00.
