I was thinkin about puttin a 75 to 100 shot of NOS to my 99 SS but I talked to some of my buddies and they made me realize that its better to depend on the power you got on your motor than dependin on a little button, just the other day I race a 99 Z28 he had a 75 shot and I was ahead of him, on 5th gear is when he cought up but I was thinkin on 5th gear the 1/4 mile is only till 3rd or maybe 4th gear, its just makes me feel a little better that I can get a better time than another car that is runnin with NOS.

trust us - get on the bottle.. All motor is great, my TA is ***** to the walls fast on motor. But once you push that fun button - hold on. Its like a freight train hits ya in the ***.

Once you spray it you'll be addicted.
It's bad though...
I get in the car to go cruising at night and instantly open the bottles.

Nitrous is the best thing i ever did to my car...

All motor is cool...but you can only go so far before you need a power adder anyway.

I say stick a bottle on it and leave those "i want to go fast on motor" guys sittin in the dust.

Snakemotor....sounds like your firends are young and stupid. Nitrous (not NOS/Naawwss) is a modification, like any other one. SOudns like you want to make yourself feel better for not buying a nitrous kit and listening to your teenage friends. Talk to someone in your are with a LS1 car that has a 150 shot on it and go for a ride...Make up your own mind, dont listen to friends who have probably never run a bottle before...

I don't depend on nitrous, I just have it to beat up on some serious race cars around here.

What are you putting down all motor? What mods have you done? Chances are you ran an untuned LS1 running a 75 shot without a bottle heater in the dead of winter...

My friend with an '00 Z28 gives me **** for my nitrous all the time. I simply reply, "Wanna race?"

hehehe, this the wrong forum if you want opinions from both sides. put this in the drag raceing section if you want opinions from both sides. here everyone is going to be pro N2O. like me. oh ya, by the way, spray it, dont say it. NA is good but N2O is better. hehe

I would always take as much motor as you could possibly get. Nothing to replace that power, it's the easiest to come by for a price. Do not read that as more motor = more displacement. Just saying whatever you can do to make your motor stronger on it's own will definitely be more beneficial (no duh, I'm brilliant right!). Then spray on top of that and hold on. I'd rather give you hell on motor. Then when someone complains that you sprayed you can offer them up a second dose and smack em around some.

I usually whoop everones *** so bad on motor, I don't have to crack open the bottle even though I have ~500 rwhp I still have nitrous, you can never have enough power hehe
