Clutch not engaging?? Got in my car today put it in 1st with the clutch in and it was making a chirping noise. Drove a few feet and and it bucked a few and i heard a loud clunk. I pulled it out of 1st and now the clutch doesn't seem to be engaging at all. The car will not go into gear when it is running but it will go into gear when its off
I was wondering what you guys think the problem might be and where I should look first. The clutch did not seem to be slipping at all in the last few days and I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary until today.

Well chirping noise you said while the clutch was in to me sounds like the throw out bearing. So its just my guess would be to start taking it apart and find out. That and if it doesnt want to go in to gear while its running could be the clutch.
