Default Need Help chosing Converter

I know this gets beat to death in here but I will be ordering myself a convertor for my new Auto tranny (200-4R built by Mike Kurtz) that I am also ordering tomorrow. I have absolutely no idea what to go with since I have never had an auto.

My car is a 2000 WS6. It has a 408 Stroker motor with the works. It dyno'd 475/475 NA and 610/651 on a 150 shot through the 6 speed. The current race weight is about 3700lbs. I know I will lose HP and that is not a concern. I will be going with a TCI more than likely and want it to be driveable on the street but still launch like a BI#@! when I put the slicks on and spray out of the hole.

Give me all you have to offer Stall Speed STR and any other suggestions. What else am I forgetting to ask....

nice tranny!! 200-4r has lived behind many big hp turbo buicks. I THINK a good converter guy would take your dyno sheet...rear gear..tranny gears and weight to help you pick out the right converter.

Well we went with a custom build. It will be a Super Street Fighter closer to a 3500. They said that it will stall around 3600 to 3800 on motor and should stall around 4200 when I spray it.

Anyone running anything similar and what should I expect?
