Default LT1 Carb conversion questions...

Hey guys, straight to the point-

I have a low mileage LT1 that came out of a 94 Z28, and I have a 79 Camaro in need of a new engine... I have the original 350 still in the 79 and it runs fine but with the outrageously high miles on it i think its time for a new one

So I was first looking into converting the Camaro to FI, but there are a lot of complications with it (esp having to drill into the gas tank) plus I figure it would be more cost effective to pop the LT1 in there as a carbed engine.

What all would I need to convert the engine? I've already got a new (1yr old) carb intake off the original engine as well as a distributor... can anyone give me some insight on what I'm getting myself into?

More work for LT than it's worth. Get a 1st. gen SBC and plug it in there.

first off you would ned to buy this front plug

second the intake you have did it come off of a old sbc? if it did you will need to have the intake holes re drilled so you can bolt it down to the lt1 heads.
