Main stuff is in here
http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/lt...third-gen.html

Do a search there or make a new thread for the smaller details. The swap is so common that almost every tiny aspect has been covered

You are not going to be able to come onto this site, post a thread and have someone answer every question on your swap.

The search feature will help you a lot. As mentioned go to thirdgen.org for some really good info.

You are going to have to do research and learn before you tackle a swap like this.

Once you have a starting point people will be more than happy to help you.

Many have posted and asked the same question.. but it comes down to this. Do your research 1st.. many have answered or attempted to answer your question. But to fully give you want you want.. we don't have to time to write a book for you. And like I said, we have all answered them many time and the FAQ's are all good and have the answers for you.

So.. Do some research and ask your questions directed to a specific area or part. You will get a better answer and more answer/options about it. Keep them small and to the subject.

If your as your screen name is.. consider it Homework ! We have all done it ! (yeah, I know you hate school and homework LOL)

so.. rewind and try again !

I "think" you can use vette accessories that moves the compressor to the top.

Nope, all LSx engines had the AC low mount on the pass side. Sanden sells brackets for an upper pass side mount using the stock compressor. Way overpriced for what little you get IMHO

The K-member notch is covered in the first post on the TGO sticky, so he's got nothing to complain about. He just needs to read and do his homework

Guys, thanks for offering concrete, specific idas and solutions, however, we need to keep the discussion civil in here or this post gets locked. I've had to go in here and clean things up and I don't have to do that very often at all. And yes, I do know what provoked the dialog

And please Mr. Original Poster (5yearoldwitls1), I know it can be frustrating but please keep your dialog civil as well or you'll get the boot and that's not what this Board is about, we're here to help. As already mentioned, the burden is really on you to decide what you would like to do because no one knows your personal preferences, budget to work with, expected outcomes, etc. You've been given some pretty informative links and suggestions....my recommendation would be to draft out your plan and then come in and ask for help to "fill in the blanks" where you either couldn't find the info or are stuck between one or more solutions and need more info about a specific option or choice. This is where the power of this Board lies in experience. Hope this helps!

I tried the "nice guy" approach but that didn't work. Our OP got an infraction and I am now locking down this post!
