Default Factory Hurst

I have the factory 6 speed shifter and was thinking about buying the factory Hurst shifter for approx $50.
Just wanted to hear from some guys that had the factory Hurst and if they liked it or not. Seems like I miss 3rd sometimes WOT.
I did a search but didn't see much.
Thanks

it's maby better than the non hurst/stock shifter but those are still crap IMO, buy a Pro5.0 shifter.....you will get a little trans/gear noise through the Pro5.0 but I think that happens with any aftermarket shifter, it's not bad IMO but I also love the sound from my LM1 catback.

Looks like there would be a small benefit to the factory Hurst over the factory shifter. It was like a $600 option back in the day! I know they make really nice and better ones now but you can pick up a factory Hurst today for $50-$60.
I'll more than likely go with one.

Sounds great jmm98LS1 - I just purchased a factory Hurst so should have it in a few days! If it holds good at 10.7 over 130mph I think it should work for me!!
Thanks alot

The Factory Hurst shifter was a $325.00 option ( on my 02 WS6 ).

Guess I was wrong about the factory cost of the shifter. Maybe the dealership "upsold" it to the guy I was talking to. Bet that has never happened before.
Well I am sure the Hurst is stronger and tighter than the factory non-Hurst option so I am sure I will like it. Got $60 in to it so not a big deal.
I appreciate all the posts, guys. Thanks
