Default A/C Delete, what size belt?

probably going to be deleting my AC here pretty soon, but didnt know what size belt im gonna need?

From what I've seen it depends on which pulley you use (1LE, aftermarket, etc.). In my opinion, the best thing to do is to install the pulley, then measure the belt routing with a piece of string (or cloth tape measure), then buy 3 or 4 6-rib belts that are similar in length and see which one fits best, then return the others that don't fit.

if its the 1LE bracket, then u may retain the stock belt

I used the GM 1LE pulley and had to get a shorter belt. GM used 2 different sized pulleys on the A/C compressor, if you have the smaller pulley on your compressor you can use the stock belt. If you have the larger pulley like mine you need a belt that's 63.5".

geeze i did it so long ago i cant even remember what size belt i used doh! i can't believe im now an old guy lol
