Ok right now im running a 427 motor 4.125 bore/4 inch stroke making about 800hp.
If i rebuild it so its a 4.125bore/3.750 stroke which should drop me down in power. should be a 401 ci but better oil control and blow by issues cause the pistons are staying up in the cylinders more right ?
Now my spare engine is a 4 inch bore if i installed that 4 inch crank in it id have 402 ci. this motor has a little longer sleeves in it.
Now if all parts and cams are the same will both motors run the same or very close to same ? which should make more power ? last longer?
Would both engines be close enough to be able to run on the same tune?
