I am looking into an H/C/I build over this winter. I want to know if the cam/intake are sufficient for a 10.xx pass.
This winter I want to add a set of Texas Speed PRC 2.5 heads. Those are a nice set of heads for the price, so I want to somewhat work around those heads.
Overall the mods on the car would be in addition to the mods in my sig:
PRC 2.5 heads
228/232 Cam
LS6 intake+Ported TB
100 Shot N2O
3.90 gears
Slicks/Skinnies
Is that cam large enough to get into the 10's? Same with the intake? Should I look into maybe a 232/234 cam, and a FAST 90/90?
Thanks for any help.

yes. I'm running a tsp tqr 2 and a stock ls6 intake with home ported TB. Times in my sig, looking for 10.5s in the next few months with more tuning and tweaking the car.

The question that erk's me "do i have enough to get in the tens?" not to be an ass but putting in my 2 cents i have gotten in the 10's with a stock f body only a little spray and a tire.. I have seen the same exact setups run a second apart due to "TUNING!!" i stress to everyone i know that no matter what you have with a good guy tuning your car any mod you do should be accounted for and sure you have plenty to get in the 10's but can you drive and is the tune right? So do you have enough? maybe...but will your car do it? who knows it might be 12's but g/l
