Can the idle be adjusted on a 99 z28?

Manually, no. But custom tuning can put it anywhere you want it.

Why are you asking?

Upgraded alternator (200 amp with smaller pulley) for sound system. At idle and in gear, voltage is under 12 and lights dim a little.Raise RPM slightly and voltage stays where it should.

Dim lights is what you get with an underdrive pulley at idle. Alternator is spinning too slowly.

A smaller pulley on the alternator makes it spin faster.
