Angry housing search for car guys

Why in the hell is it so hard to find a gearhead friendly apartment, condo, or townhome? I feel like a simple guy with a simple wish. All I'm asking for is an attached garage and central highway access.

Has anyone in the Houston area found a good way to search for this kind of housing?

the apartments on 290 and fry have garages and highway access. granted the garages are not attached, but they are below the apartment.

They are nice, friend lives there, and we use her pool all the time.

BELLAGIO Apts. or Town homes off Belt 8 and Phillipine between West Rd. and 290. I lived there for a year,they are nice and have attached garages. Easy access to anywhere except southside of Houston.

Haha maybe my simple wish isn't as simple. Highway access to the City helps since I work near I45 and N Shepherd.

Getting on the Belt is as far out as I'd go since traffic isn't too bad.

Hahaha too true. A friend just pointed me in the direction of Seven Oaks near the Galleria.

Nice sized condo with a 2 car attached garage! I remember his 80's 911 turbo half torn apart, full tool set, and plenty of room to walk around

THIS.

i lived there for about 1.5-2 yrs.

1 bedroom w/ attached garage is like 915$ a month.. 20$ for trash and water.
electricity was about 120$ (i was using direct energy).

pretty good place, and i havent found ANY other place in houston (apartment) for a lower price that also had an attached garage.

i bailed to move in with my girlfriend... now i have a much bigger garage

(there was a guy there with a pretty worked red GTO, cool guy, we talked cars a few times and ran into eachother getting onto the BW-8 a few times.

also saw a nice black TA there for a while, also sounded really good.

i had the silver dodge charger R/T... heads/cam+++ )
