Default the problem is back

so after replacing the coil it ran good. but now the problem is back.


ill be driving an the car will just shut off an turn back on


i have no idea at this point. i have a new dynaspark coil wires an plugs. what should i do?

Check ALL of the optispark harness connectors, ICM connectors, etc., for broken or loose connections. Maybe try running the engine at idle and wiggling the connections to see if the motor stalls.

ok ill try that. this just pisses me off cuz all i do i baby this car an she does this to me lol. an i checked the harness when it first started to this an it was fine, so ikd i was about to buy a t350 an stall an lt's but i cant cuz of this

Do your gauges act funky or anything? Check the ground that goes from teh coil stud to the frame rail, and especially check the ground that's by the power steering pump...I.E. remove, clean, firmly reattach the grounds.

Did you check the ICM? They're fairly inexpensive...

i checked the icm an i even spaced it away from the head. today im putting the car in the air to look at all the grounds. i neeed to find the problem imports vs. domestics is comming up i need to be fast.

Check to make sure fasteners on the two posts of the power distribution box (red box on pass. fender) are fastened tightly.

I had a similar problem but mine turned out to ignition wire blowing out and countless ignitions switches. To this day I have yet to figure it out. Check on your fusible link and connections for the ignition wire.

ok ill see what happens.now the oil pressure guage wont nove even at 4 grand this car is realy pissing me off now
