Default Pics of my custom FRCs and a new pic of my ride..

Spent several weeks on the covers and i think they turned out pretty good in the end for a budget project:

And i've been fallin behind in taking pics of the car but here's a new one with the white DRLs instead of the amber:

I like it alot. I love where you took your pic of the car.

How much did them FRC's end up costing you? Reason being is I would like to get my done soon but I want the color to be the stock camaro silver, to match my silver z28 badges I am getting.

Ok McTullis.... Thats enough... I am not going to look at any more pictures of your car! I don't care how many more you post!

By the looks of things, I am going to have to spend a hell of alot of money in order to get my silver TA to look as good as yours.

Hey, want to trade those old ugly *** wheels of your straight across for my set of ZR-1 look-a- likes?

Looks good as usual. Personally I would have made the Trans Am on the FRCs black for a little contrast, just my .02

Dean! long time no see buddy. The Formula got about 115000 miles on it so i had to let her go...still ran strong as hell even with high mileage.

Spud - i bought the covers for $20 or so and a few bucks on paint and sandpaper. Badges were $28 total from the dealer.

Kimchee - ain't no thang. Add a set of phat rims and lower it..and do a few cheap details here and there. I haven't spent a whole lot on it

Everyone else..thanks!

Hey John,
Long time no see! Car looks great... I see you got rid of the blackbird. Those rims look great, I may have to get some for my SS.

Good lord that is nice! How's the clearance with that drop? Also what kind of camera is that?

really sweet looking car

Is it possible to provide the picture with red sky in a bigger format to fit my desktop... I hate to stretch it and make it look fuzzy.

MJP: Clearance is as it could be expected with a dropped car. Gotta angle things right when pulling into driveways...find alternative routes sometimes...but my main concern is headers. I can't add longtubes and not sure yet how clearance on MACs will be. I -might- have to go up to a pro-kit even though the Sportlines sure look gooood. The camera is a Sony DSC-S85.

John,
You sure put alot of miles on your old bird! This December makes it 4 years that I have owned my 99 SS and I just hit 15,000 miles. I'm glad you went for the WS6 this time. Looks like you took the same journey I did. I started with a 96 v-6 Camaro and traded that for a 97 Z-28 and traded that for a 99 SS. Remember the old v-6 days... oops, did I say that out loud?
Here are some pics of my baby... web page

Man! I didn't even catch it that it was your car in that other thread! The graphics look bad ***..

It has been a long road. Just since '97 i've had a 98 Firbird, 98 Formula, now this. I'm about to move back to college station in the coming weeks so hopefully the mileage will slow down on this car. I bought it in march with 13000 miles and it already has 42000. OUCH. I need another toy to get me around! But in a 'small' town like College Station and my house only a mile from school i'll do alright...
Take care..

Yeah... I bought a S10 pickup truck as my daily driver for about 2 years, but now my car is my daily driver because I got rid of the truck to get a motorcycle and now I'm going to sell my bike.
Anyway, it's good to hear from you and feel free to email me and let me know when you come out this way (katy). I still go to Brians house on occasion. Good luck in school and get yourself a beater to drive during the week so you can save your baaby for the weekends!
