Default Best heads for my setup

Ok, so ive been eye-balling a set of vengance racing 220cc heads for my setup, ive gat the futral f13 cam right now, all supporting mods, ls2 tc, so on. Stock intake which i plan to change after head swap. I just need to know is ths a good price, im an A4 with an SS4000 and 4.10s tuned by ed at Va. Speed. Car made 3.88/385 through said mods. Im looin for the absolute best bang for the buck heads and it seems as though the TFs from vengance would net me some good gains. I was hopin for like a 430 respectivly, but more is always welcom. As stated i will change the intake later, so i know ill pick up alittle more. Thanx for the help fellas. Deployed to afgan right now, planin the mods out now! Thanx

Hi , i dont know if SDPC still has them but GMPP has cnc ported LS2 heads and they are alot cheaper than the LS6 because they do not have the hollow valves but they will support only .570 of lift unless you change the spings , if your looking for best bang for the buck this is it , if i am not mistaken they are about 650 a piece , given your ss4000 the larger intake runner will do very good , even if you change the springs your looking atlot less and you will not feel the differnce , if you look into it let me know if they still have them and how much thank you Eric

Hey, if you don't mind, send me a PM on what you paid total for the heads and touch up. I'm seriously considering the TFS 220's for my build. By the way, 482/425 is awesome. I'd love to be making that much hp/tq when my build is done.

Bump.. Yeah that would all well and good to have them just spec me out a cam, but just having them install one I already bought broke the damn bank.. I might hit up shawn though, and see what he says. Cam is an F13 from futral, im wondering if a milled set of 220cc heads will fit no problem, anybody know? I would really hate to buy the heads just to find out later that they dont fit. Anyway, anymore advice, but its sounding like this could be a good route to take, i was thinkin somewhere in the 430ish range, but maybe alittle more. Not all about the dyno numbers, i know, but its nice to know what the car is makin.

Don't just take my word for it but I would be very surprised if it did not clear. My old setup was a similiar sized cam (230/234 111+2) withh 220's milled to 60.5cc. SCR was 11.2-11.3-1

BTW #'s in sig are that combo....

Checkout the PRC 215 & 227 heads. We're finishing a verison of these heads that will feature stock p/v & 59cc chambers! That chamber & either of these castings would be a awesome combo without a doubt. The 227 heads are the ones on our shop car that went 9.66.

Not to mention we're about to run $200 off next week on PRC aftermarket castings!
You can also get them without springs & move your springs over. You'd be under $2000 for a fully cnc ported aftermarket casting.

I bought 2.5 LS6 heads from you a few years ago...how much of a boost would these be over what I already have?
