decking surface Ok I just ran the math on my setup. The heads I have are stockers with large combustion chambers leaving me with a total of about 7.9:1 compression. I was considering milling the heads .020 to get my compression back up to 8.8 or 8.9. I am running a full forged engine planning about 20psi. I am concerned the additional loss of deck surface of the heads will make them lift easily. Should I just go aftermarket? What are the thoughts?

Ok let's do this. What kinda boost is everyone running with stock cylinder heads? I see people are saying 8psi on stock heads they lift but I am running cometics and arp studs. That with a lower compression ratio I figure I may be ok.
