Any LS1 Tech members going on Hot Rod Drag Week? Just curious.

I know of a couple members from PT.Net that will be attending. On of which I talked to the other day that was installing his new FLT 4l80e. I need to look to see where the tracks are this year an maybe make one of the days! Vince

Basic dope on Drag Week:

9/13 Test n Tune at National Trail Dragway outside Columbus, OH
9/14 Time Trials at National Trail outside Columbus, OH
9/15 Time Trials at O'Reilly Raceway in Indianapolis, IN
9/16 Time Trials at Milan Dragway in Milan, MI
9/17 Time Trials at Pittsburg Dragway outside Pittsburg, PA
9/18 Time Trials at National Trail Dragway in Columbus, OH

Fastest average ET for the Week wins Individual Classes except for Daily Driver Class which is bracket race for fastest 32 cars.

Group from the LS Fest in Kentucky will come up and test n tune with drag week participants on Monday at National Trail.

I'm entering daily driver with my GTO.

Another guy local is coming too with a 04 GTO. Should be a great trip, not as far from home as prior years for me anyway.

I'll be there riding along in my friend's Buick.If it's half as cool as he said it was last year, we'll have a blast. He won a Gearvenders overdrive unit and got a half a page in HOT ROD Magazine, how cool is that!

Well my Hot Rod Drag Week came to an end today. Car hooked like crazy. So good that I broke the DTS 12 bolt. Took out the carrier. On my way back to Hebron Oh as I type this to get the truck & trailer. I had an absolutely blast though and will do it again next year.

Did anybody see the 56 Chevy with the monster 60' wheel stand today? I had a birds eye view as he was directly on front of me. All I could say was WOW!!

great week, made the final in the bracket race for Daily Driver but lost to the white malibu. I tried to represent for the stick shift but couldn't cut a light on the last race LOL
