Default Running Lean. A/F ratio is 14.0 Flat! Suggestions?

Any suggestions to make my car running a little rich? I just got back from dyno today, and the weird thing is, my A/F ratio is showing 14.0 flat from 3500RPM all the way through 5500RPM.

It starts at 15 at 2750RPM then drops down to 13.5 3000RPM then climbs back up to 14 at 3500RPM.

Any suggestions? I changed the fuel filter about 3 weeks ago, could it be that I have a faulty fuel filter? I have a spare one that I could swap out.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Sid.

Or maybe your flux capacitor isn't pegging out @ 1.21 jiggawatts.

Yeah, the way the stays flat like that makes me wonder if the prev. owner purposefully tune this car to be that way.

I think a tune might have to be done, I'll wait until i have my LT and d/d catback installed.

Just get it tuned... LTs don't make much of a difference.

IT should take about an hr to fix. It would take about 10-20 minutes to quickly tune your MAF table and you would be fine for your WOT PE area of your tune.

Can you elaborate more on this?

Right now, I am going to get another a/f ratio from a diff. place just to make sure. Also, I will be testing my fuel pressure to make sure that (fuel pump, filter, etc) is not the culprit.

How idea how I can test for injectors?

Really???

You can ohm them out with a DVOM but that will not tell if you have a blockage issue.

Who ever was running the dyno should have told you that you need your tune corrected. That is all you need.

Sounds like someone has never seen Back to the Future....

Anyway. If you stand on it and it registered 14.0 then you are definitely in need of a tune. This is one reason why I like my 5 wire wideband. I can see any changes I make pretty quickly. I would stay out of the throttle till you get it down to a reasonable 11.5 A/F ratio @ WOT.

UPDATE!!!

I tried cleaning my MAF again today, and I found out, since I am an IDIOT, i left the lid of the MAF cleaner on top of my air filter and I closed the the lid without realizing the lid of the MAF cleaner was still there.

So basically, for the past 180 miles (including the dyno runs), I drove with the MAF cleaner lid stuck between my air filter and the MAF screen (thank GOD I did NOT descreen my MAF).

Would that cause an error MAF reading, causing the car to run lean?

I don't think that would make your A/F stay at 14.0. How did you get the lid down inside like that?! It would have blocked some airflow, but would not have changed the sensor reading. Well, maybe it would have since the amount of metered air would have changed quite a bit.
