Default lt1 4l60e in a ls1 car.

Can I use a 4l60e out of an lt1 car to put in an ls1 car.

yes you need a new flywheel with dual bolt patterns for a lt1 converter...
then you need to swap harnesses inside the transmissions
the corssmsmber will need some slight modification i think...
and the speed sensor harness plugs probabaly differant
and youll need to keep your ls1 trans line fittings...think thats it

As mentioned above it could be done however I would not recommend it. Also if the lt1 unit is not a 96 or later unit the electronics will not work properly. Another thing is you would need a crank spacer kit because the pilot on the LT1 converters are different. If the unit is a 96 and later the speed sensor connector is the same. Vince
