Default GREAT times with stock motor. 2000 ta 1/8th

impressed with numbers my car is running.. scared to swap the 6.0 in Im building. Engine is bone stock with 170k+ on it.. crappy ls1 intake. air lid, hooker super comp headers, flowmaster full exhuast, tune, 3.42 gears, 3200 stall, battery relocation. NO power adder all motor. mickey thompson drag radials on the stock 17s.

car ran 1/8th at 7.97 first pass but muffler came loose going thew the trap

removerd muffler car ran 7.89 second pass... PRETTY damn good for a wore out bone stock motor.....with a slight death rattle.. haha.. it must be about to let loose. I want to spray the car just scared because of milage and rattle. I picked up a lq4 to build. Hope the car runs as good or better on motor with the 6.0.

I have run 7.53 @ 90 w/ a 1.63 60ft w/ the same bolt-on's so that is about right for what he has done.

Many 7.60's and even some 7.50’s with old stock engine with similar bolt-ons never had valve covers off at a weight over 3,600 lbs. with ET Streets. So I find it very believable.

Congrats to OP.
