Default Best throttle body for a bolt on car

I was looking into the ported throttle bodies on ebay and just wondering if there worth the $70 bucks? I have full length header and true duals and a tune. Just want to squeeze out extra power on the air intake side.

You can actually find them for around $55 shipped on ebay, or if you feel comfortable, you can do it yourself (there is a write-up on bowlingss.com).

In answer to your question, I feel it isn't worth much hp-wise. Some guys mention a noticable throttle-response improvement, and maybe 5hp, but in the end it's another bolt-on mod. Personally, I couldn't feel the difference (but I doubt anyone could feel a 5-10hp difference).

just port your stock one, you have plenty of flow with the stock one for a bolt on car.

yeah I finally P&P by TB after doing so much research and just going inn. I really polished the hell out of that thing. Do it and dont forget the bump stop mod and green grommet.

I've had one ported TB on my car and just stuck a second one on (car's tune wouldn't play nice with the first one). There's a little power gain, but the biggest improvement is throttle response.
