I'm relatively new in the Houston area, moved out here in May from Plainview. I'm looking for a new tune and possibly (doutbtful) a new cam spec'd and installed for my 408. I thought I could live with the streetability issues, but as a daily driver instead of a most days driver, it's become a bit of a pain. Hopefully a new, more conservative tune will calm it down, and if not, I'll seriously consider a new cam.

Also, does Houston have a local board? Anyone know about any Houston meets? It's time I thought about getting a little involved in things here.

im going to take mine to g-force mainly caues they are like 10 miles from my house, but lmr does phenominal work too. just do a search in the texas section of their names, you'll find plenty of **** they have done!

TSP did. They did the build and install as well. It may be a lost cause to get it more driveable as it is, but I can hope.

Also, what about a transmission shop (my Xterra's 3rd gear is dying), and a detail/body shop (both my cars need cleaning and tint BAD and the camaro's interior is falling apart) in/near Spring?

There is no local Houston forum, this forum section (when LS1Tech started) was actually mainly Houston people, but now that the forum has grown to where it is today it has people from every where in Texas which is cool.

My boys over at G-Force will take care of you. There is another non-sponsor that is a VERY good tuner/builder that does good work as well. Both of them have helped my brother and me over the years!
