Clutch/Hydraulic Issue
I've known that I need an adjustable master cylinder for a little while now because my clutch will go to the floor under hard acceleration, but I've never had an issue with the clutch during daily driving conditions till last night.
As I was getting on the interstate and going into 5th the clutch went to the floor. I pulled over, sat for 5 mins, had pressure in the pedal and headed to my destination with no problems. About the time I started pulling into the parking lot the pedal was gone again. The reservoir looked empty and I added some fluid, and got my pressure back. I had a friend look up under the car while I was pumping the clutch and the car was shooting fluid out. I was able to make it almost all the way home, but a block away I had to stop and put more fluid in it.
What caused this problem?
