Default Need the size of the oil pan bolt used to drain oil. Mine snapped

Yes my oil pan bolt snapped inside the oil pan when i was tightening the bolt after draining the old oil. I searched many times but cannot find the exact size of the bolt or thread pattern. Any help will be appreciated.

Well, I don't have the exact size of the bolt, I usually call a dealership and they're able to give you the dimensions, pitch/thread/etc.

How do you snap a steel bolt that threads into aluminum...and were you able to get it out? Just curious.

I don't want to start the car up now due to the lack of oil to get it in my garage. Its to dark to work on it now. Tomorrow i'm getting an extrator or easy out and I'm going to try to drill it out. It wasn't an original GM bolt btw that snapped
