Default 10's? camonly, m6 on drs

one of my goals for this year has been to run some 10's in the everyday street setup. the stock z28 rims with drs on the back, no cutout fully exhust with the factory slp 20tl catback. puts down 425/393 thu the s60 with 4.30 gears, steel driveshaft, and flywheel. 28 m/t dr's on the back

on my car, cam only setup, been mid 10's race prep, my drag wheels, in good air. on the stock untoched 241s heads, fast92/92, american racing 1 7/8 headers, newera/fti streetsweeper cam, mike at newera tuned. it drives great, runs good. been getting closed running some low 11's for a while, think 11.22 was the best last year. can some some 11.teens this year, and last night even faster.
one 11.13, and a 11.07
but here is the best pass.

Thats awesome, hopefully raising my limiter and getting a 12 bolt with gears will get me close to 120 mph. Your car is flying.

You can do it! In my car I have my shift light set @ 6200 and my 1-2 shift ends up at 6800-7000 rpm. Shifting to 3rd is usually around 6600 and 4th is around 6200-6300 but I keep the light on for a bit to stretch 3rd gear out. This is logged with hptuners.

Great numbers! Why not do a cutout or ewp to put you all the more closer?

Awsome ET!!! You've really got your car dialed in. What settings do you start at for your 2-step and front/rear shock settings and how do the settings differ between running slicks vs drs?

on the catback, all i got with the muffalr with the tips stuck, really stuck in. haha.theres a pic in my build thread. i didnt get the over the axle or ipipe with it. but did get a maganflow over the axle pipe. but thats made to go into the rear of a dual outlet on both sides. were the 20tl has both on one end, and the inlet is in the middle of the case. so i had to cut the over the axle pipe to change it a little, but its still 3inch up to the top of the rearend and into the muffalr, but i have a 4inch outlet ypipe i made, then to tappers after that. but testing some heads i ported the car was making 465-470whp. it was onlt 6-7whp peak running open 4inch ipipe on the side of the driveshaft. then it going thu the muffalr and into the tips. it was a lot quiter when i 1st got that muffler, after some dynos making that power. i noticed it really got louder, now afetr 2 years with the 2step and the backfires its not that quiet really like a dual/dual 20tl, lol

Ah, i gotcha. I had thought about something along those lines, just wasnt sure if it was worth it or not. I know of one guy, that actually split the case of the muffler, replaced the pipe inside the muffler, w/ 3.5" tubing, then welded up the case back up. Not sure if it helped or not, but it supported a twin-turbo 355 LT1, a shade over 900rwhp..

these tires are not 28, the list them at 27.7 but on these rims more like 27.5 or less. the\y would be better on a wider rim really. there 285 or 295/60/60 the m/h 275/60/16 fits these rims a lot better. these m/t are 7 pounds heavier each too. that pic is the m/and/h btw, i posted the m/t this spring in a thread about fitting 28 tires if you wnat to look for a pic, i know i did my my build thread too.

the car weight is 3360 with me, last year on these rims with the m/h drs. these rims are not light, there 20.9 per bare rim ,the heaviest 16 wheel i belive. the drag wheels are 70-80 pounds less.
