are the VFN stock ram air hoods functional ? subject pretty much says it all. I would much rather pay $450 than the $1100 or so suncoast wants.

Re: are the VFN stock ram air hoods functional ? Their website says they use the stock grilles, so I would think the answer should be yes. Has anyone actually gotten the regular WS6 hood from VFN? I personally dont like the look of the 4", and the price is right for the 2" version, so I think I might consider it for my summer mods.
