Default lt1 tunning

I did a seach and saw pcm for less and thats about it. I know the tuning on these are limited compared to the LS computers. I picked up a 67 chevelle with a 95 LT-1 and 4l60E tranny. the motor is stroked to 383, my question is where or who does tuning on these things? i have a turboed 6.0 in my truck and have hp for that but would like some options for this car. any suggestions would be great!

there are a couple different programs out there for the lt1, tunercats being the one that seems to be the most user friendly. I use JET DST which is essentially the OBDII version of tunercats and utilize a lot of the EFIlive tuning tools to help with certain tables for smoothing and what have you.

Hey:

Check with Ed Wright @ WWW.Fastchip.com. He is on here. Also Madtuner is very good for bolt on cars, hard to beat for the price. A couple of other good tuners out there, but IMHO what has been mentioned already in this overall post is all you further you need to check out. Unless you are going to a Dyno facility, then it really depends on your location and how far you are willing to drive to get it tuned, and still probably won't make that much more power, than one of Ed's tunes when all said and done.
