Well, I've come to the part of the project where I need to hookup the wiring harness and I need a few questions answered. Do I need the Clutch pedal position switch wire? Should the power to the DLC be fused? If so, what size and type of fuse should I use? Thanks for your help.

The power to the DLC should be fused, generally with a 20 amp fuse. Most of the newer cars have the power coming off of the cigar lighter fuse(20amp). I'm not 100% sure on the clutch pedal switch wire.

Are you referring the clutch pedal switch as the upper one. You need the bottom one to start the car. The upper one is needed if you plan on running cruise control. I think there are two upper switches. Dont know what the other one goes too. The one that ties into the brake should be for cruise control. Maybe its the brake that has two switches. Sorry im not 100%, if i have time i will check if needed.

Thanks, I thought that the DLC was supposed to be fused, but I wasn't sure. I think onehardmaro is right about the clutch pedal position switch. I believe it is used for cruise control operations and thus, I don't need it.

I have a few pictures, but they're on my friend's digital and they aren't that great, but I will send them to you. Next time I go to work on my car I will take some pictures of a lot of the pieces of my setup. At this point, I have the engine completely assembled, with all the accesories, bolted up in the car along with the transmission. I have a few things left to do, but I should be done soon.

He said there are 2 clutch position switches. I am assuming that the bottom one must be activated to initiate starting. Is that correct?

There is one attached to the bottom of the pedal assembly that gets pushed in when you start the car. This switch usually has a large purple and yellow wire going to it. This is the one that needs to be activated for the car to start. The one on the top is to disengage the cruise control when you depress the clutch pedal. At least that is the way I understand it.
