sounds like me when I first did mine after just getting the car, I believe it was just shy of 8 hours for plugs and wires.

When My car had all the factory crap in it only took and hour to do plugs and new msd wires. I did have LT's though so that might have been the reason.

Don't go OTVC, I hate mine.

Which is why I only have it done on the driver's side...LOL!

do you have header ? I dont think you can do OTVC with stock header. if you have header, I would just do OTVC anyway, and make sure you get some heat sleave, like this

I just changed mine yesterday took a while, the drivers side is easy with pacesetter long tubes, i had a real problem with cylinders #2 and #4, finally found a socket that you can put a wrench on the end, i think they are called spark plug sockets? that did the trick. after i got the new plugs in i could really feel my car pull hard, but before i changed i seen one of my wires was completely off. That causes a BIG lack of performance!

you can cut that spark socket in half. buy a cheap walmart or habor freight spark plug socket ( I got mine at HF for 2 dollar ). it give you more room.

Drivers side- 4-5 minutes

Passenger side- 1/2 hour, mostly to get around the PS and A/C lines for #2 & 4, using the grooves behind the pulley (8 mm wires). Pacesetter LTs and some custom A/C lines. I just remove the alt. for extra knuckle room.
